After two difficult years for music students across the world, Moville Community College in Inishowen got the go-ahead to allow students to return to the stage. From the 26th-28th of May, Transition year students put on an incredible show. They had been preparing since early spring and were excited to be bringing a musical to the whole school community of Moville Community College once again.
Many of the cast were also taking part in the StagePass programme which really helped boost their confidence in performance and seeing how much they grew since the beginning of StagePass was incredible.

The main character Annie, who was played by Jaime McDaid, was perfect in her role. She portrayed the innocence and childish humour of Annie to perfection and her vocals, especially in ‘Tomorrow’ blew the audience away. Another main character Ms Hannigan, played by Anna Ferry, was a stand-out character in the performance as Anna portrayed the drunken orphanage keeper in such a hilarious manner. The majority of the students who took part in StagePass also adopted a role in the show which was amazing.

On opening night, it was wonderful to have Carndonagh Community School attend the performance and support their fellow StagePass friends. Earlier in May students from both schools performed together in Leeuwarden as part of the StagePass learning activities.
